Senior Lead Solutions Design, Lead Logistics Solutions
Overview
DP World is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Solutions Design, Lead Logistics (LLS). In this role, you will support the department and product suite for Lead Logistics and Control Towers in Europe, building on existing and/or acquired capabilities in other regions. Focus is the international supply chain for Retail vertical, from factory floor to Distribution Centre for the customer.

Integrate transportation strategy within our solutions, shaping multimodal network design. Manage project teams, set governance, and drive commercial outcomes. Standardize methods across People, Process, and Technology. Align with global entities, Sales, and IT to ensure integration and repeatable quality. - end global supply chain solution including key origins in Asia, international transportation into European destinations and the execution of solution design with the Lead Logistics Solutions team.
Responsibilities
- Design and document business focused Lead Logistics Solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and internal capabilities, achieving successful rollouts/implementations aligned with Lead Logistics Budget.
- Set standards. Oversee quality of analysis and all solution artefacts; run peer reviews and tollgates. Develop detailed Solution Design Documents (SDD) and Solution Configuration Documents (SCD) for implementation teams.
- Collaborate with Product Director, Lead Logistics Solutions and Commercial teams to identify opportunities, developing compelling proposals that demonstrate clear business value.
- Develop feasible, accurate and compelling solution designs, incorporating scope of service, operating models, resource models, implementation time and costs, operating costs, business value, recommended terms/models/scenarios and P&L.
- Run governance. Establish project governance, RAID management, and Steer
Cos with senior stakeholders. - Create solution preference by evidencing our solution is the best choice (highest value / lowest risk) for customers/prospects.
- Lead the transition of solutions from proposal through implementation, ensuring accurate, feasible, and sustainable solutions.
- Actively maintain and update global solution toolkits, incorporating lessons learned and emerging best practices.
- Use consultative selling to shape opportunities with Sales;
- create value hypotheses and business cases. - Ensure proposals show clear value, risk profile, and delivery plan; align terms and P&L logic.
- Lead the handover to Implementation with an agreed SDD/SCD, success criteria, and benefits tracking plan.
- Develop proactive customer feedback/insight for current features improvement and needed future features.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in supply chain logistics, business analysis, or supply chain solution design, with proven delivery of large
- country solutions (Retail vertical experience is a bonus). - Experience in 3PL/4PL or LSP environments; 5-7 years in sales, customer service, or product roles.
- Strong transportation domain knowledge (multimodal, TMS concepts, carrier management, Incoterms, customs basics) and understanding of market needs and tools.
- Consulting toolset: problem framing,
- driven analysis,
- level storytelling. - Proven track record implementing PO Management / Lead Logistics / 4PL/Control Towers or related solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated ability in solution design, consulting, or business analysis within logistics, Saa
S, or related fields.
Other Skills
- Strong analytical and
- solving abilities with a focus on delivering measurable business value. - Knowledge of PO Management, Procure-to-Pay, Vendor Managed Inventory, and related processes.
- Experience implementing software using a software development lifecycle (SDLC) model.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation) for diverse stakeholders. English mandatory.
