Velocity Tech has partnered with an exciting tech company who are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on a contract basis.

This contract will be fully remote and last a minimum of 12 months and is likely to be extended thereafter.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or applied AI.
• Proven track record of taking models from prototype to production in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as Py
  Torch, Tensor
  Flow, or Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with data processing tools such as Spark, Pandas, or SQL.
• Strong understanding of ML system design, MLOps, and modern deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, etc. ).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Based in Europe with the ability to work effectively in a
  - first environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deep learning, NLP, or
  - series forecasting.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
