The Work

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Technology Category and Strategic Partnerships to join our Tech
Hub. You will manage and direct the technology category across HAVI’s global supply chain footprint, define, align and execute the sourcing strategy for technology, and enrich relationships with strategic ecosystem partners. You will govern key partners to ensure value delivery and partnership growth. You will work closely with the procurement function in GBS to deliver an efficient

- contract service. This role leads negotiations for all strategic contracts with full compliance and due diligence. You will be responsible for demand planning within the technology function, ensuring alignment to the Technology Strategy. This is a senior leadership position reporting to the Snr Dir: Technology Strategy, Planning and Governance. The role requires policy and process definition and enforcement for category management, and collaboration with business units and stakeholders. You will manage relationships with legal counsel for standardized contractual terms and contract administration/repository.

The Skills

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Management, or related discipline, preferably in a multinational firm.
• Proven experience in leading a team in vendor/third-party management, including policies, performance, vendor risk, relationships, contracts (negotiations), and issue/dispute resolution.
• Strategic negotiation and influencing skills, experience with vendors with spend around $10m per year up to commodity procurement.
• Extensive experience negotiating with global consulting firms.
• Superior financial acumen.
• Executive presence and comfort interacting with internal and vendor senior leadership.
• Ability to influence without authority and collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate business concepts in technology terms and translate technical concepts into business/nontechnical points.
• Strong relationship skills to facilitate positive vendor engagements and deepen existing ones.
• Problem-solving ability focused on business outcomes through collaboration.
• Understanding of commercial terms (warranties, IP, indemnification) in technology agreements.
• Lead process optimization to drive growth and efficiency.
• Experience driving organizational change through
  - building, communication, influence and leadership.
• Understanding of business strategy and ability to interact with senior managers and executives.
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with
  - cause analysis and working in a matrix environment.
