E drives best practice, innovation, and scalable expertise.
Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager (SAM) to act as a day‑to‑day lead across Google’s regional marketing communications program.
The role requires exceptional coordination, communication, and analytical skills to ensure that content and email workflows are executed flawlessly across multiple markets, languages, and stakeholders.
Scope and Deliverables
Project & Process Leadership
- Lead
-
- end project management across content, creative, and deployment workflows. - Act as the primary client point of contact for operational delivery and issue resolution.
- Manage
-
- day coordination between Google stakeholders, creative, data, and tech partners. - Track project status, milestones, and dependencies—ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to specification.
- Own and optimize
- functional processes, driving improvements in efficiency, collaboration, and visibility.
Quality & Performance Management
- Conduct testing and validation, including UTM/link testing, rendering checks across devices/platforms, and accessibility compliance.
- Track and report campaign performance through data dashboards, A/B tests, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with Google marketing leads.
- Partner with analytics to surface insights and actionable recommendations for campaign improvement.
Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Communication
- Build strong,
- based relationships with client and internal teams—including Strategy, Creative, Email Development, and Data Analytics. - Maintain a consultative relationship with the Google regional marketing team, offering guidance on best practices, workflow design, and testing strategy.
- Drive process alignment between regional and global teams, ensuring cohesion in cadence, design, and strategy.
- Proactively flag risks, dependencies, or resourcing needs to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
Content Intake, Workflow Management & Content Integrity
- Lead content intake from Google stakeholders—ensuring timely asset delivery, proper formatting, and version tracking.
- Manage content publishing and maintenance processes across internal platforms, ensuring updates are reflected in the correct regions and versions.
- Collaborate with the Email Delivery Senior Account Manager and developers to align content versions with the correct email templates and audiences.
- Oversee localization and translation workflows, ensuring content accuracy and compliance across all markets.
- Maintain content calendars and oversee version control to ensure accuracy across multiple concurrent campaigns.
- Support
- informed content testing (subject lines, creative variants, messaging impact). - Contribute to process innovation—identifying opportunities for automation, better visibility, and streamlined intake.
- Lead content QA before deployment, validating language, tone, and regional appropriateness.
- Support reporting and content performance insights to inform optimization and creative direction.
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in marketing operations, client services, or campaign management.
- Strong understanding of email marketing, digital campaign workflows, and content production.
- Proven experience managing
- functional teams and complex
- market projects. - Demonstrated ability to manage QA, testing, and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with email platforms (ESP), content management systems, or marketing automation tools.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign data and identifying actionable insights.
- Deep attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows under pressure.
