About your Role / What will you be doing?

As our Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will be expected to be an innovative,
- driven engineer to join our team. The responsibilities include improving existing mechanical systems, developing new product concepts and prototypes and designing and testing mechanical and electronic automated systems.

• You will be expected to:
  • Design, develop and improve innovative
    - mechanical systems and mechatronic devices.
  • Develop test plans and protocols and execute prototype testing and design verification testing.
  • Creating automated systems and control software
  • Conducting research, documenting findings, and presenting reports at meetings.
  • Developing design documents, schematics and component specifications for mechanical parts and final products using 3D Modelling software through the document control process.
  • Performs detailed system tolerance analyses to achieve desired product performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements;
  • Participates in risk management activities (e. g. DFMEA) and implements risk mitigation strategies;
  • Attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to network with others and stay on top of field advancements.
  • Effectively interfaces with suppliers to source and fabricate components;
  • Other duties as assigned as necessary.
    

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or similar.
• Highly proficient in Solid
  Works, Auto
  Cad and similar 3D Modelling software.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
• Strong technical drawing skills.
• Bonus: Experience in embedded system design/programming, experience with medical devices or highly regulated environments, knowledge of ISO 13485
• Startup experience is a big plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and keep detailed documentation.
• Ability to work in a team or alone.
• Self-starter with a passion for engineering.
