We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Portugal. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering electrical systems for Infrastructure in mission critical Projects, a strong understanding of MEP requirements, and must be registered with the Ordem dos Engenheiros in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for mission critical projects, including HVAC, cooling systems, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with electrical and plumbing teams to deliver fully integrated MEP solutions
• Perform calculations, simulations, and detailed engineering analyses to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with industry standards
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met within timeframes and budgets
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers to maintain
  - quality deliverables
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese and international regulations, standards, and codes relevant to mission critical infrastructure projects
• Conduct site inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Registered member of Ordem dos Engenheiros (Portugal)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in mission critical projects
• In-depth knowledge of data center cooling technologies (e. g. , CRAH, CRAC, chilled water systems, free cooling)
• Proven experience in designing
  - efficient and sustainable MEP systems for critical facilities
• Strong understanding of Portuguese building regulations and international standards such as ASHRAE and EN
• Proficiency in Auto
  CAD, Revit MEP, and simulation tools such as CFD for thermal analysis
• Excellent project management,
  - solving, and communication skills
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
