Job Requirements

1. (1) Nationally recognized title of specialty (compliant with Portaria n. º 91/2024/1) in human genetics or medical genetics and registration within the respective professional body;
2. (2) Formal training and experience in all currently used molecular biology techniques;
3. (3)>3 years of experience on interpretation/validation of genetic results and (co)signing molecular genetic test /clinical reports;
4. (4) Experience in interpretation/validation of genetic test results obtained through conventional methodologies, namely Sanger sequencing, fragment analysis, q
   PCR or MLPA;
5. (5) Knowledge of the bioinformatics processing, common software and databases, in particular the classification and interpretation of variants identified after analysis of
   - exome sequencing data or targeted gene panels;
6. (6) The clinical laboratory expertise necessary for generating medical diagnostic reports;
7. (7) High motivation, and good communication and organization skills;
