Overview

Join to apply for the NDT Field Engineer role at Siemens Energy .

The position focuses on performing Ultrasonic inspections on turbine parts and coordinating a team of NDT inspectors, with primary work at nuclear stations in France and opportunities to support the international NDT team.

• Execute and follow up on
  - destructive testing of turbine and generator components as part of maintenance and modernization projects in power plants worldwide, particularly in France.
• Lead and document
  - destructive tests according to international standards within project teams.
• Apply manual testing methods and advanced automated testing technologies, using field experience to drive developments.
• Share field experience with R&D to support development of new inspection techniques.

• Studies in materials science, measurement technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics, or technical training with several years of experience.
• Experience with NDT methods (ISO 9712 certification is advantageous;
  
  
  
  university graduates welcome).
• Willingness to travel worldwide for more than 70% of work time and flexibility for
  - term planning changes.
• Communicative, confident, structured,
  - oriented team player ready to take responsibility.
• Fluency in English is mandatory;
  
  
  
  knowledge of French is ideal;
  
  
  
  ability to adapt to foreign cultures.
