Senior Network Engineer - Lisboa

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support and optimize the infrastructure of one of our key projects in Lisbon.

Location: Hybrid – Lisbon, Portugal

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN solutions
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
Ensure network security and compliance with corporate standards
Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments
Work with cloud and
- premise network systems
Maintain accurate and

- date network documentation
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure efficient network operations
Manage routing, switching, and load balancing configurations

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in network engineering
Strong experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper environments
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and firewall management
Experience with network monitoring tools (e. g. , Wireshark, Solar
Winds, Nagios)
Familiar with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Knowledge of IT security policies, VPNs, and remote access protocols
Experience with network automation (Ansible, Python scripting is a plus)
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE are a strong plus
Fluent in English (B2 minimum). Portuguese is a plus
