About the Role: Senior Network System Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File/Print, etc. ).
• Support and administer Linux systems (less priority).
• Oversee and tune databases (SQL Server, My
  SQL, Oracle, Postgre
  SQL).
• Administer and secure
  - prem Active Directory and its synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Provide operational support for Microsoft 365 services as required.
• Automate operational processes using Power
  Shell and Python.
• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia
  C) practices, ideally with Pulumi or Ansible.
• Maintain and secure the network infrastructure, including:
• Firewalls: Watch
  Guard, OPNSense, Azure Firewall (hub-and-spoke architecture).
• Switching: Ruckus and HP Aruba.
• Wireless: Ubiquiti and Ruckus.
• NAC: Ruckus
• Support and maintain VMware v
  Center and its ecosystem in a dedicated project (nice to have).
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers on hybrid integrations with Azure and AWS.
• Ensure system and network reliability, security, and scalability.
• Participate in
  - call rotation and incident escalations

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in a Systems/Network Engineering role in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server technologies (on-prem + hybrid).
• Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, My
  SQL, Oracle, Postgre
  SQL).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls, wireless).
• Familiarity with Watch
  Guard, OPNSense, Azure Firewall, Ruckus, Aruba, and Ubiquiti solutions.
• Experience with VMware v
  Center and related virtualization components.
• Proficiency in Power
  Shell and Python scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with Ia
  C (Pulumi experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS (secondary to core infra).
• Strong troubleshooting and
  - solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
