arrivia, a global leader in the travel industry, is looking for a versatile professional to support our daily financial operations. This is a fully remote position in Portugal, where you'll be a pivotal member of our international team, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency across our UK, Portugal, and India locations. This role is ideal for a financial professional who excels in a dynamic environment and is ready for a new challenge.

What You'll Do

This role is a great fit for someone who loves to be
- on with a variety of accounting tasks:

• Oversee Core Accounting: Take charge of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.
• Contribute to Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Manage Reconciliations: Perform detailed bank statement and general ledger account reconciliations, along with invoice reconciliations.
• Handle the Payroll Component: Be responsible for payroll processing and review, ensuring full compliance with Portuguese labor laws.
• Drive Efficiency: Accurately input accounting entries, conduct monthly cost reconciliations, and assist with budget filing.
  
  

What We're Looking For

We're searching for a dedicated professional who meets the following criteria:

• A university degree in Accounting or equivalent professional training.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a corporate accounting or payroll role.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese payroll laws is a must.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication across our international teams.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a

Salary Range: €14, 600. 00 to €21, 900. 00 per year.
