- end payroll process for the Italian payroll in our Global Business Services HUB in Lisbon. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and proper handling of payroll queries.

The Senior Payroll Specialist is a key member of our HR Services Team, supporting efficient process execution, issue resolution, and accurate HR payroll data management, while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be a payroll subject matter expert for HR and ensure operational excellence for our Italian-based employees.

Accountabilities:

1. Monthly payroll data preparation in collaboration with HR Operations and Payroll Team.
2. Perform Italy-specific payroll calculations linked to the CCNL, such as salary splits and gross salary calculations for insurances.
3. Raise and maintain
   - related POs and validate invoices.
4. Serve as the point of contact for National Government Authorities.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Experience supporting HR processes and transactions, ideally in Workday.
• Knowledge of Italian payroll legislation.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Understanding of HR service technologies like case management, user portals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Ability to handle confidential data responsibly.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience working in a matrix organization.
• Understanding of payroll management and integrations from direct payroll/HR data team experience.
