This is a crucial role where you'll ensure our team members are paid accurately and on time while also contributing to core accounting functions. What You'll Do
Your primary focus will be on payroll, but you'll have a chance to showcase your full financial expertise:
- Own the Payroll Process: Take charge of payroll processing and review, ensuring full compliance with Portuguese labor laws and regulations.
- Manage Financial Records: Prepare and maintain key financial records and reports, assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Support Accounting Operations: Perform detailed bank statement and general ledger account reconciliations. You’ll also manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring a smooth cash flow.
- Ensure Accuracy: Master invoice reconciliations, input accounting entries into our ERP system, and conduct vital monthly cost reconciliations.
- Collaborate Globally: Work with our international teams and assist with special projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree in Accounting or equivalent professional training.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a corporate accounting or payroll role.
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese payroll laws is a must.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication across our international teams.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a
- paced environment.
Salary
Salary Range: €14, 600. 00 to €21, 900. 00 per year plus competitive benefits and unique perks.
