Overview

Senior Platform Engineer role at Signicat. Location:
- remote in Trondheim, Vilnius, Lisbon, Oslo, Bucharest, and Rotterdam, or remote within Spain.

Signicat is a Pan-European Digital Identity Service Provider with over 170 data sources for identity verification. We serve governments, financial institutions, and businesses across Europe, with a team of 450+ professionals committed to building technology for trustworthy digital interactions.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Platform Engineer, design and build the global Signicat Digital Trust Platform for
  - border digital identity needs—across the customer journey.
• Design, build, and manage software systems and infrastructure that power Signicat services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and security experts to improve the experience for millions of users.
• Think deeply about systems, edge cases, failure modes, and lifecycle management to craft robust, maintainable solutions using
  -
  - breed tools where possible.
• Work with product owners to design platform capabilities that increase speed to market while ensuring observability, reliability, and deployability.
• Champion and practice Dev
  Ops best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance on
  - level design and implementation across products.
• Help define the platform and technology roadmap as an experienced voice.

What you’ll love

• Well-versed in Cloud Paa
  S (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure or similar).
• Experience working in
  - volume transaction environments.
