Now we are looking for a Procurement Senior Specialist who would like to be a part of this great team!


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or another related field,
  • Knowledge of procurement practices, market research, contract negotiation is a must,
  • Have minimum 5 years experience of Procurement, Supply Planning, Supply Chain experience,
  • Fluency in English is a must,
  • Professional knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Excel and Power Point),
  • Knowledge in SAP procurement modules is a plus,
  • Excellent analytical and
    - making skills, intellectual curiosity
  • CIPS Certification is preferred,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and
    - solving skills
  • Ability to meet the requirements of a
    - paced environment with multiple demands and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels,

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to Regional Procurement Manager, Procurement Senior Specialist will play a vital role in performing and controlling procurement processes in order to provide operation, investment materials, spare parts, direct/indirect materials and services at the right cost, time and quality and prepare tender packages, contracts, carry out contractors/supplier relations.

Additional responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Support procurement processes for goods, services, consultancy, and subcontracting activities
  • Contribute to the tendering process from initiation through to closure
  • Identify alternative supplier companies and maintain/update potential supplier lists
  • Coordinate closely with the Finance Department regarding financial planning and payment schedules
  • Contribute to the preparation and finalization of contracts by providing technical, quality, HSE, and environmental inputs
  • Support the preparation of the commercial and contractual sections of tender packages in line with requirements and specifications, and coordinate the inclusion of technical sections related to required materials, equipment, services, and works
  • Communicate and coordinate with Technical, Legal, and Finance departments on contractual matters
  • Implement Yılport Holding procurement policies and procedures, including contract and requisition management procedures
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts
  • Prepare quotations, request bids, and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions
  • Improve existing suppliers and onboard new suppliers into the system
  • Monitor and report on the annual procurement budget
  • Implement action plans to achieve KPIs and procurement performance targets
  • Follow up on import processes and take proactive actions regarding
    - related matters
  • Ensure compliance with quality service standards, procedures, rules, and regulations
