About The Role
Cloudflare Registrar is a core part of the Cloudflare experience, offering customers a simple and secure way to register and manage their domains. Using Cloudflare, customers register and renew domains
- cost and do not pay any mark up fees.
As the product leader for Cloudflare Registrar, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for this key service, directly contributing to Cloudflare's mission and growth. This is not a typical product manager role. You will be responsible for the product strategy and vision, and the overall success of the registrar business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and communicate the vision, strategic direction, and goals for Cloudflare Registrar.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap balancing registrar functionality, user experience, compliance, integrations, and financial objectives.
- Work with finance and registry partners to manage costs, forecasting, and reporting for the Registrar business.
- Conduct qualitative user research, gather internal feedback, and translate insights into product requirements.

- market teams to ensure successful product launches and regulatory adherence. - Create dashboards to analyze user behavior, registration/transfer/renewal funnels, experiment results, and financial metrics.

As the Senior Product Manager for Registrar, you’ll partner with engineering, design, legal, compliance, finance, and GTM teams and own the Registrar business.

- Champion of the customer: Conduct user research and gather internal feedback to inform product requirements.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate across engineering, design, legal, compliance, marketing, sales, support, and BI.
- Data-informed Decisions: Build dashboards and analyze metrics to inform product decisions.

- Strong history of impact and experience with P&L responsibilities and finance collaboration.
- Deep understanding of DNS, ICANN policies, registry operations, and domain registration industry.
- Data fluency and ability to work with data directly to inform views and persuade others.
- Engineering fluency or technical background to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Understanding of Internet layers and related complexities.
Compensation
Compensation varies by location and level. This role may participate in Cloudflare's equity program. Estimated salaries by location (Senior Level): New York, Seattle, Washington DC: $192, 000 - $234, 000; Austin and Colorado: $170, 000 - $208, 000.
