Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a Senior Project Engineer - Waste Management to join our winning team based in Lisbon, Portugal. Reporting directly to a Project Manager in our
- winning Sustainability and Environment Division, this role is responsible for support on Waste Management Policy and Strategy for projects across the Middle East and potentially further abroad.
- Support the waste and environment division on all waste management consultancy projects.
- Complete waste characterization audit reports.
- Support the development of market assessments for waste management, PPP projects and technology assessments.
- Develop and improve designs for waste management facilities and building waste management systems.
- Support the wider company on design projects with waste management strategies.
- Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates for waste management tenders.
- Assist in generating and following up on business opportunities in various locations where required by the Division.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include:

- ' work experience - Bachelor degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Knowledge of waste management principles and strategic waste management planning will be a plus.
Fluency in English and Portuguese is a requirement of the role.
- Experience in consultancy or engineering experience with waste strategy development and working for
- scale infrastructure and masterplan projects. - Experience in delivering technical reports. Knowledgeable of principles and practices of research and data collection.
