Wave is seeking a dynamic and agile Senior Project Manager with excellent communication skills, high work capacity, and a strong desire to learn. Availability to work at our Lisbon office is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead
  -
  - end project management for migrating business intelligence platforms from SAS to Snowflake, including integration with Databricks and Power
  BI.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams including data engineering, analytics, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
• Oversee data transformation activities, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security during migration.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to keep the project on track.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practices in project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience, particularly in complex data transformation or business intelligence projects.
• Experience with
  - scale migrations involving SAS, Snowflake, Databricks, and Power
  BI.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, warehousing, and analytics solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
