We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Mons, Belgium.

Eligibility:

• Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.
• Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.
• Candidate must be prepared to obtain NATO security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Principal Project Manager, the selected candidate will:

• Plan, implement, and manage assigned projects in accordance with NATO regulations and NCI Agency project policies.
• Develop business cases, procurement strategies, risk/benefit analyses, and statements of work.
• Ensure successful project delivery through effective management, coordination, and quality assurance.
• Understand client needs, collect data, analyze findings, and deliver solutions.
• Deliver projects within agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Monitor progress through regular and ad hoc reporting.
• Allocate resources and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Track KPIs, risks, issues, and cash flow, and maintain
  -
  - date logs and mitigation plans.
• Support annual and
  - year planning through accurate forecasting and project scheduling.
• Supervise teams and individuals (directly or in matrix environments).
• Lead meetings and briefings with stakeholders, customers, and team members.
• Ensure project documentation is high quality, current, and properly archived.
• Participate in support/maintenance activities and deputize for senior staff when required.

Requirements:

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of
  - related experience.
• OR: At least 10 years of progressive, relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Recognized formal Project Management certification (e. G. , PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP).

Experience

• At least 3 years of recent project management experience in a
  - scale IT organization.
• Familiarity with planning, design, and implementation of C4ISR systems.
• Understanding of deployable CIS network design and modern switched multimedia technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with diplomacy and clarity.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated success in leading project teams in C4ISR acquisition.
• ITIL Foundation Level certification.
• Technical/engineering background with leadership in systems development.
• Experience with tools such as Service
  Now and collaborative platforms.
• Knowledge of NATO or national acquisition/procurement procedures.
• Experience working in international environments with both military and civilian elements.
• Understanding of NATO structure, including ACO and ACT responsibilities.
