About The Role

What you need to know:

• To handle Line of Business (Lo
  B) portfolio of claims from coverage enquiry through legal liability assessment (where relevant) and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution;
  
  ensuring mitigation of indemnity and expense exposure while communicating developments and outcomes as necessary to all key internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing Complex and Major Loss claims handling enquiry;
  
  coverage determination, quantum analysis and legal liability assessment, where appropriate.
• Ensuring effective vendor and litigation management on complex and major loss claims within a personal allocation.
• Broader internal / external stakeholder communication where required, as (Lo
  B) technical claims expert.
• Assist in continuous improvement across the region through support for the Quality Assurance / Regional Audit processes
• Represent AIG (Lo
  B) claims expertise on external technical panels and / or industry forums.
• Contribute to maintenance of best practice procedures for (Lo
  B) claims, consistent with global best practice.
