Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Backend) will work in a
- team,
- location environment to deliver
- quality software and scale our platform for worldwide markets. You will report to the Engineering Manager in a team of five Developers and one QA and contribute to innovative products across our brands.

Responsibilities

• Improve our testing capability and enhance product and customer experience.
• Lead the automation strategy design and implementation for your team and project with a proven track record in
  - paced environments where time to market and quality are critical.

What You’ll Bring

• Passion for building a great consumer product that customers will love.
• Proven track record as an effective Quality Engineer in complex software projects.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing methods.
• Experience writing and maintaining test automation and test scripts.
• Experience supporting developers in writing better test automation; mentoring and coaching others on QA best practices.
• Working knowledge of a development language such as Java, Python or C#.
• Experience testing in
  - oriented architectures and understanding data flow.
• Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts quickly and advise on effective actions.
• Understanding of solution architecture including system design, data design and data flow.
• Experience testing at API layers (e. g. , REST) and familiarity with
  - driven development (BDD/ATDD).
• Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git).
• Comfort with Linux navigation and shell scripting.
• Understanding of build and configuration tools such as Git
  Hub Actions and Ansible.
• Experience designing
  - level automation testing strategies and leading their implementation.
• Identify and measure essential QA success metrics, including defect management.
• Help in the selection and recruitment of quality assurance engineers.
• Experience in test management processes and tools (e. g. , Xray).
