Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Senior QA Engineer to improve our product, system, and customer knowledge. You will manage your own project work, share knowledge within the testing community, and collaborate closely with delivery teams to conduct thorough testing aligned with our standards.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will develop precise test plans and execute them, ensuring issues and risks are identified and addressed. A keen eye for detail and a focus on quality are essential for organizing effective test phases across projects.

Note: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Lisbon office.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the system under test and how customers use the products.
• Create accurate and timely test estimates.
• Collaborate with the delivery team to develop and maintain testing artifacts that ensure efficiency and coverage of requirements.
• Implement various testing approaches during development stages, staying updated on industry advances.
• Possibly develop and maintain test automation scripts, understanding automation frameworks.
• Take responsibility for all testing activities, record risks and issues, and produce test metrics.
• Share knowledge and mentor others in the team.

Skills, Know-How, and Experience

• Deep knowledge of Sage X3 product.
• High attention to detail in all aspects of testing.
• Effective
  - tasking, prioritization, and planning skills.
• Strong
  - solving abilities with logical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) methodology.
• Experience with developing automated tests from specifications.
• Optional: Finance domain knowledge.
• French language skills are a plus but not required.
