Job Description

We are looking for a new Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about continuous improvement of product, system, and customer knowledge. You will manage your own project work items, actively share knowledge across the testing community, and work closely with delivery teams to carry out thorough and efficient testing according to team processes and standards.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will create accurate test plans and execute them, ensuring all issues and risks are raised and managed to completion. Attention to detail and a focus on quality are essential, resulting in
- organized test phases across all projects.

This is a hybrid position - you will work 3 days a week from our Lisbon office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate understanding of the system under test and how customers use the products.
2. Create and track accurate and timely test estimates for projects.
3. Collaborate with the delivery team to create and maintain test artefacts that maximize efficiency, cover all requirements, and enable timely delivery.
4. Execute various testing approaches during each development stage, staying updated with advances like rapid,
   - based, exploratory, regression, security, and usability testing.
5. Have an awareness of test automation frameworks and create, execute, and maintain automation scripts.
6. Take accountability for all test activities within a phase, record and communicate risks and issues, and produce effective test metrics.
7. Share knowledge across the testing team and coach others to avoid key person dependency.

Skills, Know-How, and Experience

• Deep knowledge of Sage X3 product.
• High attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Ability to
  - task, prioritize, and plan effectively to meet deadlines.
• Good
  - solving skills with logical solutions and options.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).
• Experience developing automated tests from specifications.
• Knowledge of the finance domain (preferred).
• French language skills are a plus but not required.
