Location: Alfragide (Hybrid – 3 days
- office, 2 remote)

Experience: 5+ years

We're looking for a detail‑oriented Senior QA Manual Tester with strong backend testing experience to join our team and work on exciting projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and gather requirements based on business needs.
• Design functional and component tests, including test plan creation.
• Execute API tests using Postman.
• Perform manual/functional testing and report defects.
• Access databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) to analyze and prepare test data.
• Support and retest bugs/defects in Certification and Production environments.
• Execute and analyze automated test suites.
• Create and execute automated tests within an existing framework.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing, focusing on backend testing.
• Strong SQL knowledge (IBM DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) – mandatory.
• Experience creating and executing API tests using Postman (or similar tools).
• Familiarity with QA tools and processes (HP QC, JIRA, HP SM, Xray).

Preferred

• Experience analyzing XML messages and application logs.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst certification.
