At MIKUTA, we are raising the bar for product quality and sustainability and we’re looking for a Senior Quality & Sustainability Manager to lead this mission. You will implement structured quality processes across all categories and develop a sustainability strategy that reflects our brand values.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for all
- related matters between product teams and manufacturing partners. - Lead and oversee quality control processes (risk assessments,
- production testing, inline inspections, final shipment approvals). - Evaluate supplier performance on quality and lead times, fostering
- term partnerships. - Build and guide an internal quality and sustainability team.
- Develop and implement a sustainability strategy aligned with business goals and brand values.
- Establish responsible sourcing practices with transparency across all product inputs.
- Create and roll out standardized quality assurance processes, manuals, and KPIs.
- Drive measurable improvements in product quality, timelines, and supplier standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate
- functionally to integrate quality and sustainability into all product decisions.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management, garment production, or sustainability within the fashion industry or a manufacturing environment.
- Garment construction knowledge.
- Experience working with factories and subcontractors such as print and dyehouses.
- Fluent in English & Portuguese, both written and spoken.
- Driver’s License class B.
- Proactive
- solver with the ability to anticipate challenges, take initiative, and drive improvements. - Background in Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or related field is a plus.
- Leadership skills are a plus.
