The role:
In order to ensure our
- quality requirements while shortening development times, we are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to implement automatic test processes for complex
- client systems. You ensure to deliver high quality solutions to our internal Partner ASMPT in Germany. You play a significant role in the implementation of highly complex automatic test processes that are used for regression and acceptance tests for validation. What you will do:
Analysis and design of test requirements in the area of material management
Design and perform user acceptance application testing considering functionality, performance and usability
Creating test environments (Release Pipeline, Virtualization, Cloud, Container)
Implementation of test sequences for automated software tests
Carrying out the manual and automatic tests
Reporting test status and test results
Support the development team during the development process
Support the product management team for all matters related with validation and software quality
Review and contribute to product documentation
What you must have:
More than 5 years of professional experience in testing complex software solutions
Experience writing and executing test plans and test scripts
Experience with software lifecycle and source control tools (preferably Git and Azure Dev
Ops)
Knowledge of tools for test automation (preferably Selenium and Grafana K6)
Knowledge of SQL Server databases (write queries)
Knowledge of programming language (preferably C#/. NET) and scripting language (Power
Shell)
Knowledge in virtualization, cloud and container technologies
Knowledge of the agile testing process
Willingness to travel internationally
Excellent English skills – spoken and written
Ownership,
- organization and
- oriented communication
Critical thinking and
- solving skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
What we consider a plus (not mandatory):
German would be helpful
SMT domain knowledge
