Senior QA Engineer (Front-End) – Long Term Contract (Remote, Portugal-based)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-End QA Engineer to join a
- term contract engagement on a
- impact web application. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of
- end features, working closely with development teams in an Agile environment.

This role requires strong experience in automated testing and
- end technologies, with the ability to work autonomously and contribute to continuous improvement. Occasional travel may be required (0–15%).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for
  - end applications.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and functional coverage.
• Support CI/CD processes and integrate testing workflows with tools like Jenkins .
• Report, track, and follow up on defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, best practices, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Solid experience in automated testing .
• Strong knowledge of Java
  Script and Node. js .
• Experience with Cypress and/or Webdriver
  IO .
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban, JIRA ).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , Jenkins).
• Strong
  - solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in e-commerce applications .
• Knowledge of performance testing or
  - end optimization.
• Mentoring or leading QA practices in
  - functional teams.
