Job Responsibilities

• Develop subcontract tender packages from contract information, analyse received tenders, present options to senior management, negotiate with subcontractors, conduct pre‑let meetings, and develop subcontract orders.
• Manage multiple subcontract packages from order through to final account, including remeasurement where required, monthly payments, and claims management.
• Maintain and submit accurate monthly cost reporting, including end‑of‑project projections in collaboration with the site team.
• Attend periodic meetings with stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, designers, and internal collaborators), negotiating and closing out final accounts in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle subcontractor claims promptly, ensuring claims with the client are submitted in line with contract requirements.
• Develop and submit external valuations as required, engage with client representatives, agree monthly values, and keep certification and trackers updated for invoicing.
• Measure work packages from drawings and apply rates to calculate package pricing.
• Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director.
• Compile monthly reports in accordance with procedure and attend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings.
• Submit claims/notices timely in accordance with contract provisions.
• Document cost changes to the work scopes and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.

Requirements

• Subcontractor procurement, package management, monthly reporting, stakeholder management, claims management, valuations, cost change documentation.
• Experience in managing relevant client communications and resolving client/subcontractor disputes effectively.
• Strong project budgeting skills under the guidance of a Project Director.
• Ability to attend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings and submit claims/notices promptly.

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Excellent organisation, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical proficiency.
• Data centre experience would be advantageous but not essential.
