Working in the Ground Segment Software Development Team

The Ground Segment Software Development Team builds
- related software used by internal operators and external customers to operate a constellation of
- customer,
- satellite, and
- ground station missions. Our products are
- native
- based applications built with modern technologies such as React, Typescript, Kubernetes, Golang, etc.

The team works using a Dev
Ops and Agile methodology, combining frequent iteration cycles with the responsibility of keeping the application operational.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you’ll lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our mission operation UI. You’ll champion best practices, guide
- end developers, and make key architectural and technology decisions. You’ll work closely with users to understand their needs and shape features accordingly. You’ll also drive performance, reliability, and test coverage, while continuously seeking ways to improve our tools, processes, and platform.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Strong programming knowledge in React + Type
  Script with emphasis on good programming principles.
• Good understanding of common techniques, testing, and CI/CD to increase the quality of our code.
• Hands-on knowledge establishing and promoting best practices for creating maintainable and reliable software within the team.
• Clear and concise communication with effective listening, getting to the core of messages, and responding appropriately.
