We are in search of a Senior Release Manager to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that all our
- facing software and firmware releases are deployed smoothly, reliably, and with the highest quality standards — helping us deliver on our promise of a scalable, reliable, and intuitive smart locker ecosystem.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the
  -
  - end release planning, scheduling, and execution for all Bloq. it client deployments — covering standard product releases, custom solutions, and partner integrations.
• Maintain a master release calendar that brings clarity and transparency across engineering teams, product managers, program management, and client stakeholders.
• Lead Go/No-Go readiness checks for each release by ensuring thorough testing,
  - offs, and fallback plans are in place.
• Coordinate
  - team dependencies to manage complex distributed system deployments — from Locker OS to firmware updates and cloud services.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on
  - related updates, ensuring they’re informed, prepared, and supported during rollouts.
• Monitor
  - deployment health, track release metrics (success rates, incident rates, rollback times), and proactively drive improvements to reduce release risks.
• Contribute to improving our release processes, automation, and tooling — fostering a culture of continuous improvement and reliability across the engineering organization.
• Help define and uphold
  - related SLAs, collaborating closely with the Client Roadmapping team for custom project needs.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Demonstrated experience in leading complex software releases in a
  - product or distributed systems environment — Io
  T, smart devices, or cloud–edge systems experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of coordinating
  - functional teams and aligning multiple streams of work under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control best practices, and rollback strategies for live deployments.
• Strong understanding of testing, monitoring, and observability for
  - release health tracking.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical updates into clear, actionable information for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools and practices for automated deployments, incident tracking, and SLA monitoring.
• Proactive,
  - oriented, and passionate about driving quality at scale.

It would be great if you would also have:

• Familiarity with MQTT, message queuing, or Io
  T communication protocols in general
• Experience supporting
  - specific integrations and custom client rollouts.
• Strong
  - solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• A continuous improvement mindset, always looking to make processes more efficient and reliable.
