We are seeking a Restaurant Senior Supervisor for Breakfast to join our Pre-Opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q4 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests a new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital, marking a significant milestone in Hyatt’s brand expansion in Southern Europe. Located in Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district along Rua Augusta, the hotel will consist of five buildings, including the historic Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). The main building will feature 170 guestrooms, with four satellite buildings offering private suites. This urban resort will provide an authentic Lisbon experience for our guests.

About the role

The Senior Supervisor for Breakfast oversees the breakfast service operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all breakfast service activities for efficiency and timeliness.
• Lead, train, and motivate the breakfast team to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation quality.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Manage inventory and supplies for breakfast service.
• Assist in staff scheduling and shift organization.
• Report operational issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area.
• Support overall food and beverage operations as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Flexible availability during early morning hours.
