Job Purpose
The Senior Risk Analyst will play a critical role in the organization's risk management framework. This position involves identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks across various departments, ensuring compliance with established policies, and promoting a culture of risk awareness. Additionally, this role will support the organization's governance efforts by developing tools and maps for tracking governance policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Risk Policy Implementation & Governance
- Implement risk management and governance policies as defined by the CRO.
- Ensure organizational compliance and alignment across departments.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and governance frameworks.
- Develop tools and dashboards to track compliance and policy integration.
2. Risk Identification, Analysis & Mitigation
- Identify and assess operational and strategic risks.
- Conduct root cause analyses and evaluate risks using predictive models.
- Prioritize risks and support the design and implementation of mitigation strategies.

3. Monitoring, Reporting & Communication
- Continuously monitor emerging risks and update records accordingly.
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and progress updates for management and the CRO.

4. Tools, Research & Decision Support
- Use risk management software to monitor, analyze, and visualize risk data.
- Conduct internal and external research to inform risk strategies.
- Generate insights to support strategic

5. Training, Awareness & Audit Support
- Deliver training and workshops to raise risk awareness among staff.
- Ensure employee engagement in identifying and reporting risks.
- Support internal and external audits related to risk and compliance.
Qualifications and Competencies of a Successful Candidate
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 2 years in risk management, consulting in risk areas, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional is an asset.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Experience in risk management or a related field is preferred.
