We are expanding our Sales Engineering team with an experienced Sales Engineer who can lead technical discovery, architect solutions, and support the full pre‑sales cycle across multiple industries and use cases.
Job Overview:
You will partner with Sales Executives to qualify opportunities, design end‑to‑end conversational AI solutions, estimate implementation effort, and build demos and prototypes that accurately reflect customer needs. You will work closely with Product, Delivery, and Engineering to ensure technical feasibility and alignment from first conversation through handoff.
This role requires strong analytical skills, deep curiosity, and the ability to translate complex business processes into robust, AI‑driven solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Technical Discovery & Qualification
- Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects, partners, and solution stakeholders.
- Translate customer requirements, constraints, and processes into clear solution approaches.
- Design conversational AI solutions using Automaise’s platform (voice, chat, API‑based tools, knowledge base structures, conversational graphs).
- Define integration architectures involving REST APIs, telephony/SIP systems, CCaa
S platforms, and cloud environments. - Produce structured effort estimates, solution breakdowns, and Statements of Work.
- Build and deliver demos, prototypes, and proof‑of‑concepts for voice and chat channels.
- Own RFIs, and RFP technical proposals.
- Respond to technical questions and handle solution‑level objections.
- Ensure proposed solutions balance feasibility, cost, and customer expectations.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product and Delivery to align early solution decisions with implementation constraints.
- Support the sales‑to‑delivery handoff and flag risks or trade‑offs early.
- Participate in early project checkpoints to ensure alignment with the scoped solution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer‑facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, including prompt design, RAG principles and agent orchestration.
- Confident working with AI tools and capable of constructing well‑structured prompts, system instructions, and agent behaviours.
- Solid grasp of APIs, cloud/Saa
S architectures, and common enterprise technical constraints. - Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Fluent in Portuguese. Competent and comfortable communicating in Spanish or English with internal teams and with customers.
- OK with travelling internationally for client‑facing engagements and events.

We are hiring a Mid‑Level Sales Engineer – AI Agent Builder to join our Sales Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who is a natural builder—hands‑on, curious, and capable of turning ideas into polished, reliable technical assets. Academic credentials are not required; demonstrated ability to build, solve problems, and deliver is what matters.
Job Overview:
You will design AI Agents, build industry‑relevant demos, develop functional POCs for strategic opportunities, and maintain a robust and reliable demo environment that supports the entire Revenue organisation. The role blends creativity, technical depth, and disciplined execution.
You will collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, Account Executives, Delivery, Product, and Engineering to ensure that everything you build is accurate, stable, and aligned with customer expectations and platform capabilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Build high‑quality demos using Automaise’s no‑code/low‑code platform, showcasing AI Agent capabilities such as RAG workflows, tool usage, multi‑step flows, and third‑party integrations.
- Design clear, compelling demos tailored to target industries (utilities, insurance, hospitality, mobility, retail, etc. ).
- Continuously refine and evolve the demo library to reflect new platform features.
POCs for Strategic Opportunities
- Develop functional, well‑structured POCs that prove feasibility for high‑value prospects.
- Configure RAG pipelines, prompts, embeddings, agent flows, and required integrations.
- Balance speed with reliability, delivering high‑quality POCs under defined timelines.
- Maintain a robust and reliable demo environment that supports global Sales Engineering activities.
- Detect and resolve issues proactively, ensuring consistency across all demos.
- Apply methodical practices in documentation, naming conventions, versioning, and demo hygiene.
Collaboration on Solutions Architectures
- Work with Senior Sales Engineers to design AI Agent flows, orchestration logic, and integration strategies.
- Participate in architectural discussions involving platform behaviour, integration patterns, and cloud considerations.
- Support internal knowledge‑building around scalable design patterns and AI agent best practices.
Video Walkthroughs & Enablement
- Record high‑quality walkthroughs of AI Agent builds, demos, and POC structures.
- Produce clear technical narratives for prospects, clients, partners, and internal teams.
What We’re Looking For:
Core Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience building AI Agents, demos, prototypes, automations, or POCs using no‑code/low‑code platforms or conversational AI tools.
- Experience with APIs, authentication flows, JSON schemas, and integrations into third‑party systems.
- Comfortable working alongside Sales Engineering and Revenue teams.
Builder Mindset
- A builder at heart: hands‑on, curious, and resourceful.
- Strong hacker mentality in the positive sense—able to experiment, explore, and produce results quickly.
- Equally organised and methodical: disciplined in documentation, naming, versioning, and structuring assets.
- Academic degrees are irrelevant; proof of capability and output matters most.
AI & Automation Skills
- Strong understanding of Generative AI: prompt design, agent orchestration, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
- Ability to troubleshoot AI behaviour, refine prompts, and structure multi‑step flows.
Technical Skills
- Experience or familiarity with C# is a strong plus.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Azure Cloud services (or AWS/GCP equivalents), especially around platform design and deployment concepts.
