About the Role:
We’re looking for a commercially driven and
- focused Senior Sales Executive to help expand GSL’s global presence. You’ll work closely with the commercial and customer teams to identify opportunities, manage leads, and close deals across our suite of products and services—from research and data to events, certifications, and thought leadership campaigns. This role is ideal for a
- starter with a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying to pitching, closing, and onboarding.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key
- makers in the residential living sector (investors, operators, universities, developers, service providers). - Build and manage a pipeline of prospects across the UK, Europe and other target regions, ensuring consistent
- up and opportunity tracking. - Represent GSL at industry events and conferences, both
- person and online, to generate leads and raise awareness. - Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop tailored proposals, pitch decks, and campaigns that speak to client needs.
Account Management & Growth
- Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction, renewal, and upsell opportunities.
- Understand clients’ business goals and challenges to position GSL solutions effectively across insight, certification, events, and thought leadership.
- Liaise with marketing and customer teams to ensure seamless delivery and client experience.
- Collect and relay client feedback to support product development and service enhancements.
Sales Strategy & Reporting
- Contribute to sales strategy planning and support forecasting activities with accurate reporting on pipeline and performance.
- Use CRM tools (MS Dynamics) to track sales activities,
- ups, and outcomes. - Identify market trends and competitor activity to inform positioning and strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaign plans and lead generation activities.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience working in or with global companies or international markets.
- Experience in the Saa
S industry or with
- enabled solutions is a plus. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you’re confident engaging senior stakeholders and
- makers. - Strategic thinker with a
- on attitude, able to both develop plans and execute them effectively. - Skilled in building consultative sales relationships and understanding complex client needs.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable using CRM tools, preparing reports, and working with
- functional teams. - Fluency in English (C2 level is mandatory); additional European languages a plus.
- Experience in residential living, higher education, or real estate sectors is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel across Europe as needed for meetings, events, and client engagements.
- Legal right to work in Portugal; we’re not able to offer visa sponsorship or cover relocation expenses.
