Overview
We are helping our client, BHOUT, to find a great Senior Sales and Marketing Manager. BHOUT is on a mission to revolutionize the way people approach fitness. We understand that many individuals struggle to find enjoyment in traditional physical exercise, which often leads to its avoidance. BHOUT's smart boxing bags, powered by AI technology and a dedicated app, gamify fitboxing and turn it into an immersive game that rewards sweat. Starting with a thriving BHOUT club in Lisbon, BHOUT is expanding globally. BHOUT bags will be a familiar sight in offices, homes, buildings, or gyms, making fitness accessible wherever the mood strikes.
What You-'ll Do
- Develop integrated acquisition strategies across digital channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO/SEM) and other channels for acquisition (SMS/Whats
App, email marketing, cold calling, events, activations, partnerships, street marketing, corporate wellness programs) in collaboration with Brand & Comms. - Identify offline touchpoints to intercept BHOUT's target audience: gyms, coworking spaces, universities, shopping centers, etc.
- Build and manage a CRM for all funnel stages; utilize

- art tools and best practices in fitness and tech. - Ensure campaigns align with BHOUT’s values and customer profiles; develop detailed customer behavior reports and spot trends and bottlenecks in acquisition and growth.
- Ensure consistent messaging and cohesive customer journey across all acquisition channels, in collaboration with other BHOUT teams.
- Design and manage paid media budgets across all channels.
Local Club Acquisition Ownership
- Own offline customer acquisition for each BHOUT Club; tailor strategies to local context and geography.
- Collaborate with field teams to map local partnerships, foot traffic hotspots, and regional opportunities.
- Plan and execute
- local marketing initiatives, including collaborations with universities, retailers, and corporate offices;

- traffic areas; attendance at community events, neighborhood fairs, or fitness expos; and customize tactics to reflect local traits. - Continuously report on results by club and city, identifying offline strategies that deliver
- quality leads.
Managing External Relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact between BHOUT and the external marketing agency.
- Ensure the agency fully understands BHOUT’s strategic objectives, including lead quality, cost targets, and customer experience impact.
- Attend regular meetings with the agency to review progress, analyze results, and propose optimizations.
- Coordinate with Brand & Comms and external partners such as real estate developers, fitness influencers, corporates, and local event organizers to generate new acquisition opportunities.
Field Activation & Local Marketing
- Design and execute local activations, such as
- up strategies at BHOUT Club locations, demonstrations or trial sessions in public or private venues, and presence at industry events. - Build a referral plan that includes a network of referral partners who can generate leads in exchange for commissions or rewards.
- Lead local flyering campaigns and community engagement initiatives aligned with BHOUT’s ethos.
Monitoring and Analysis
- Track online and offline performance metrics: CPL, CAC, conversion rates, event ROI, and activation engagement.
- Analyze agency reports, validate results, and identify improvement opportunities based on internal benchmarks.
- Define the ideal BHOUT customer profile with Customer Success and monitor the journey of acquired leads to ensure alignment with
- term retention and satisfaction; provide feedback on lead quality by channel. - Ensure campaigns target relevant audiences and contribute to a sustainable and efficient sales funnel.
Innovation and Experimentation
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor tactics; propose actions that position BHOUT as a bold, disruptive player in fitness.
- Work with Brand & Comms to develop accurate new experimentations.
What You-'ll Need
- Essential
- Experience in the fitness industry as Sales Manager or Director.
- 2-4 years of digital marketing, agency management, or similar roles related to customer acquisition.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hub
Spot, or similar. - Strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Experience managing external agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and delivering results.
- Ability to work collaboratively across
- functional teams, especially in dynamic,
- driven environments. - Experience in Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies, onboarding and
- app engagement strategies and collaboration with product squads to improve user activation and retention. - Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in tech or startup industries is a plus.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on sustainable results.
