Overview

Location: Portugal (Hybrid - monthly “work togethers” and socials). Travel: Occasional international travel to work with global clients. Type: Full-time. Note: Only apply if you are a Portuguese resident. This is not a remote role.

Role Overview

As a Senior Salesforce Consultant, you’ll play a leading role in designing and delivering innovative Salesforce solutions. You’ll take ownership of the
-
- end implementation process, from discovery to delivery, working directly with our international clients and
- functional teams across the group. You’ll be
- on in configuring systems, running workshops, supporting data migrations, and mentoring junior consultants. For some projects, you’ll work solo; for others, you’ll collaborate with a Technical Director or other specialists across the group.

What You’ll Do

• Lead discovery workshops and translate client requirements into Salesforce solutions
• Own and implement Salesforce configurations and automation (flows, permissions, data loads, etc. ), as well as customization (Apex, LWC, etc. )
• Design integrations with 3rd party tools and systems
• Collaborate with clients to define user stories, process maps, and testing plans
• Support or lead data migration activities
• Conduct training sessions and support user adoption
• Work across project phases including testing, deployment, and hypercare
• Contribute to the development of the Salesforce practice in Portugal

Skills Overview

• Functional knowledge of Salesforce data structure
• Familiarity with full project life cycle from requirements through to deployment
• Ability to run requirements elicitation sessions with the client and to produce user stories and corresponding acceptance criteria
• Ability to run Business Process Mapping sessions and produce Business Process Maps (As-is and To-be)
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technically feasible solutions
• Writing and executing test scripts
• Strong communication with customers of varying technical abilities
• Project management experience and ability to work within delivery methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and
  - solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and escalate issues as required
• Ability to monitor budget burn against remaining effort
• Ability to accurately scope, plan and estimate level of effort for tasks
• Team development and mentorship
• Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader and
  - party integration tools such as Jitterbit

Technical Skills

• A minimum of 5+ years of working with Salesforce.com in a business environment with proven experience in Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Non-Profit Cloud, Pardot, with Marketing Cloud being an advantage. Additional years of industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated technical and development experience with configuration, advanced administration, flows, permissions and profiles
• Understanding of query languages such as SQL and SOQL

Industry/Business Profile & Functional Skills

• Previous consulting experience implementing Salesforce solutions
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Communities Cloud
• Experience with Non-Profit Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot (Account Engagement)

Qualifications

• Bachelor-'s or
  - 's degree, ideally in computer science or related field, but other disciplines considered
• Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Consultant certifications as a minimum; Advanced Administrator preferred
• 1+ years of professional test/QA experience preferred
