Lead SAP EWM Functional Consultant – Warehouse Optimization Expert

We’re searching for a Lead SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join a high-impact project where you’ll design, document, and drive the implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for a global client.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze functional requirements from operations, logistics, and warehouse teams.
• Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications (FS).
• Propose SAP EWM solutions aligned with operational processes and existing SAP architecture.
• Lead functional and technical design workshops—because great solutions start with collaboration.
• Guide the technical team in implementing your designs.
• Validate technical and functional deliverables, ensuring they meet business goals.
• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT), because quality is
  - negotiable.
• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure alignment between requirements, development, and deliverables.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

8+ years as a SAP EWM Consultant—you’ve seen it all and solved it all.

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP EWM, including:
• Inbound/outbound processes, picking, packing, slotting, and RF (Radio Frequency) operations.
• Warehouse structure, storage control, and labor management.
• Proven experience drafting functional specifications (FS) and guiding technical teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes—you speak the language of warehouse operators, logistics managers, and supply chain leaders.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and
  - technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (mandatory), you’ll work with global teams.
