Position: Senior Signaling System Engineer (ETCS L2)

Location: Hybrid (Porto, Lisbon, or Fundão)

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETCS Level 2 signaling solutions;

• Ensure full compliance with ERTMS standards and safety requirements;

• Manage system architecture, integration, and validation for railway signaling systems;

• Perform requirement analysis, system specification, and support RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety);

• Collaborate with
- functional teams and stakeholders for seamless system integration;

• Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields (mandatory);

• 7+ years of experience in railway signaling systems;

• Deep
- on experience in ETCS Level 2 / ERTMS projects;

• Strong analytical skills and a
- oriented mindset;

• Excellent communication and
- solving abilities;

• Fluent in English (mandatory); Portuguese fluency is a strong plus.
