The role focuses on the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of our enterprise Data & AI platform built on Snowflake, with collaboration across architects, engineers, and security experts to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant delivery.

What you will do

• Platform Development & Evolution: Technical design and implementation of platform topics, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability in line with architectural direction. Contribute to development of platform features and automation, supporting the Snowflake-based Data & AI environment.
• Automation & Monitoring: Develop automated solutions for platform provisioning, CI/CD integration, and monitoring. Ensure observability and performance tuning for reliability.
• Collaboration: Work with architects, engineers, security experts and stakeholders across data domains to implement platform initiatives.
• Knowledge Sharing & Documentation: Create clear technical documentation and promote engineering best practices.
• Compliance & Security: Embed security best practices in platform operations (RBAC, encryption, data governance); coordinate and support audits and penetration tests.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Snowflake advancements and data platform trends; identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.

What we look for

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years in data engineering or platform development with extensive
  - on Snowflake experience (platform development, optimization, security)
• Strong knowledge of data architecture principles for robust data platforms
• Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake features; experience with dbt is a strong plus
• Experience developing procedures with scripting languages (e. g. , Python, Java
  Script)
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Snowflake integrations
• Knowledge of data platform security and compliance, including audit processes
• Code that is efficient, readable, and
  - designed; strong
  - solving and troubleshooting skills
