Works in the area of Software Engineering

1. Applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems.
2. Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practices and knowledge, in research, design, development, and maintenance.
3. Requires exercise of original thought and judgment, and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
4. Builds skills and expertise in software engineering to meet standard expectations as defined in Professional Communities.
5. Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced SOA Developer to join our team in Porto for an impactful project with a client in the Healthcare sector. You will be mainly responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions based on
- oriented architecture (SOA).

YOUR PROFILE

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
• 8+ years of experience in SOA development;
• Strong knowledge of SOA concepts and principles;
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, ESB);
• Proven experience in Java development, especially in backend or
  - focused projects;
• Proficiency in XML, XSD, WSDL, XPATH, and JSON;
• Web services knowledge (REST, SOAP);
• Fluency in Portuguese.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other SOA platforms (e. g. , IBM, Mule
  Soft);
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns;
• Experience with Dev
  Ops practices and tools (CI/CD, version control, automation);
• Solid skills in PL/SQL and understanding of database concepts and performance tuning;
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
