Responsibilities

At STARK, we have embarked on a digital journey with our own established development teams, involving our entire value chain from sourcing to sales, and every IT system that helps serve our customers better. We require Senior Software Developers to help build the applications and platforms upon which we build our new IT landscape. Our development teams are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing original software solutions for our business applications, including data produced within their own product domain and interfaces towards other applications both upstream and downstream. Senior Software Developers do not have people management responsibilities but play a crucial role in defining the team, hiring technical candidates, and onboarding new colleagues.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Technical leadership within the development Scrum team following guidelines and best practices.
• Providing technical guidance, planning, and solutioning within your value stream and domain.
• Developing and implementing standards to ensure
  - quality software.
• Collaborating with other teams to support STARK IT's overall direction and the IT landscape.
• Working with Architects on
  - term technical roadmaps to balance market agility with platform stability.
• Participating in networks to stay at the forefront of technology and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Coaching junior colleagues on best practices, teamwork, technology selection, estimation, and QA.

Qualifications

Education

BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or related discipline, or relevant experience with required skills.
