We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in Java and Spring, who is also proficient with Spring Boot Data, Hibernate, and relational databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing robust, scalable solutions within AWS environments, and will be comfortable working with Python and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). You will work closely with data engineers to ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems. Experience with AI tools is a valued plus. You will join the Scrum team of one of our products, collaborating with fellow developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver and maintain
- quality software in line with sprint objectives.

In this context, your role will include:

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java 21, Spring Boot with either Spring Boot Data, Hibernate or pure JDBC database connectors.
• Integrate and optimize solutions with Oracle or Aurora Postgre
  SQL databases.
• Ensure robust, secure, and scalable code following established architecture and best practices.

Cloud & Dev
Ops:

• Build and deploy applications on AWS, utilizing services such as ECS, Lambda, Step
  Function, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS and Cloud
  Watch.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring reliable and repeatable cloud environments.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.

Python & Cross-Technology Development:

• Handle Python developments as required for automation, data processing, or integration tasks.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure effective data integration, exchange, and transformation between systems.

Collaboration & Support:

• Work closely with
  - functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver features.
• Participate in troubleshooting, monitoring, and user support activities as part of the product team.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development, cloud, and Dev
  Ops.
• Proactively suggest improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Our ideal candidates should have:

Mandatory skills

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in backend development with Java 21, Spring, Spring Boot Data, Hibernate, and pure JDBC.
• Strong command of relational databases.
• Proven experience developing and deploying solutions in AWS environments (ECS, Lambda, Step
  Function, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, Cloud
  Watch, etc. ).
• Proficient in Python for scripting and backend tasks.
• Experience managing infrastructure using Terraform.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
  Hub or Git
  Lab.

Valued assets

• Experience collaborating with data engineering teams and integrating backend systems with data pipelines.
• Experience with AI tools or frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
  Hub or Git
  Lab
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• AWS certification (e. g. Solutions Architect or Developer) is preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting solutions.
