We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Observability & SRE) to join our team.

General Qualifications:

• Experience, or willingness to acquire it, in building robust, observable,
  - performance, and
  - quality backend solutions—both in legacy systems and modern technology stacks
• Passion for designing simple and elegant solutions that solve real problems in a timely manner
• Strong autonomy and
  - motivation
• Ability to clearly and assertively express ideas, both verbally and in writing
• Capacity for incremental and iterative thinking, always aligned with a defined vision
• Belief in the idea that “innovation means making it happen”

Technical Qualifications:

(R) – Required

(P) – Preferred (nice to have)

Development

• (R) – 3 years of experience in backend solution development
• (R) – Solid experience with at least two
  - level programming languages (. NET, Java, Python, Ruby, etc. )
• (R) – Experience with scripting and automation (e. g. , Bash, Power
  Shell, etc. )
• (R) – Interest in troubleshooting distributed systems and a curious mindset about how systems work internally
• (P) – Experience developing asynchronous/concurrent systems
• (P) – Understanding of Continuous Delivery and Dev
  Ops principles
• (P) – Familiarity with observability tools (e. g. , ELK, Influx
  DB, Prometheus, Jaeger, etc. )
• (P) – Experience with automated testing practices (e. g. , TDD/BDD)

Architecture

• (R) – Knowledge of observability solutions
• (R) – Experience designing, building, and operating modern distributed architectures
• (R) – Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation and provisioning processes
• (R) – Solid understanding of communication protocols in distributed systems
• (P) – Experience designing and defining APIs

Databases

• (R) – Knowledge of
  - relational paradigms, such as document databases (e. g. , Elasticsearch) or
  - series databases (e. g. , Influx
  DB)
• (P) – Knowledge of relational databases (e. g. , SQL Server)
