We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Platform Edge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, resiliency, quality, and efficiency of our Cloud Edge Services.
• Design and build tools and infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and manage both production and
  - production environments.
• Deliver scalable, reusable, and
  - friendly solutions with a strong focus on performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including testing, architecture, deployment, and usage notes.
• Work effectively in an agile development environment.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule (24/7 availability for one week at a time).

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Golang and/or Python (recent experience highly preferred).
• Passionate about unit and integration testing.
• 3+ years in Dev
  Ops, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering roles.
• 2+ years of
  - on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to roll up your sleeves to solve problems.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with remote, distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Istio Service Mesh.
• Knowledge of CDNs, especially AWS Cloud
  Front.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes Ingress Controllers or API Gateways.
