Senior Software Engineer I - Voice Platform

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our Voice Platform team. This role focuses on delivering scalable microservices, APIs, and software solutions in a modern agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Work independently as well as in small teams to develop the best product on the market
• Implement a scalable, stable, and
  - friendly product that can handle current capacity and future growth
• Work in a modern agile software engineering environment (with source code control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, extensive testing, and continuous deployment)
• Solve challenging technical problems and apply your skills daily
• Develop and maintain microservices and APIs
• Engage with the Product team and other engineering teams across clusters and Business Units to ensure solutions fulfill requirements

Qualifications

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or an Engineering field
• Experience with design and development of web applications
• Experience with OO programming
• Passion for producing clean,
  - compliant, secure code
• Deep understanding of SOA and API design and development
• Experience with storage technologies (e. g. , Postgre
  SQL, My
  SQL, Mongo
  DB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Experience scaling global web applications
• Advocate for automated testing, continuous integration and dark launches
• Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches
• Good written and spoken English

This position will follow a hybrid work model.
