We are seeking a Midl-Level Software Engineer to support a

- based data and analytics platform used by leading global market participants. You’ll help build reliable, secure,
- quality systems that power
- scale data distribution, with a strong focus on
- on engineering, automation, and data visualization.

This is a hybrid role. Based in Lisbon, Portugal.

We deeply understand business needs, take ownership of challenges, and collaborate closely

with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

• Our tech stack includes Python , Java , and Terraform .
• Our product is built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Big
  Query as a key component.
• We operate in a serverless environment , though future products may differ.

• Contribute to a rapidly growing fintech company and help shape its technology solutions.
• Understand Propellant’s business needs and translate
  - level objectives into
  - architected,
• scalable solutions using the best of GCP .
• Build robust, secure, and reliable systems, ensuring practical workarounds are in place to
• maintain service continuity in case of failures.
• Plan and execute
  - structured releases with minimal disruption and clear rollback strategies.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Python and/or Java ,
• Proficiency in databases or cloud data warehouses (SQL, Postgre
  SQL, My
  SQL, or similar).
• Experience in data visualization toolkits , such as Plotly, Bokeh, and Matplotlib
• You have an ownership mindset and a natural curiosity—you seek to fully understand and take responsibility for both the problem and the solution.

• Experience working in regulated industries (e. g. , finance, pharmaceuticals).
• Experience with cloud and serverless architectures; familiarity with GCP is a plus.
• Dash exposure - strongly beneficial
• Experience in data engineering, working with
  - scale datasets.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and/or exchange connectivity.
• Experience owning or evolving technology stacks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
