The Squarespace Domains group is looking for a Backend Engineer! Our products enable customers to establish their digital presence. The team focuses on building new features for domain management. The Reseller team develops and maintains a scalable, reliable Domains Reseller API for businesses selling domains through their platforms.

This is a hybrid role based in Aveiro, working from the office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Team Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Scaling services to support product growth
• Participating in
  - impact projects for Domains and Email products
• Collaborating with and learning from senior engineers
• Leading
  - scoped backend projects with guidance

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Java or similar
  - oriented languages in production systems
• Solid foundation in computer science, data structures, databases, and software design
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ownership of features and projects
