? We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer – Java

Main Tasks:

• Fullstack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java Spring for backend and React for frontend, ensuring seamless integration between components.
• Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Porto team and the Paris Tech Lead, actively participating in Agile ceremonies and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Progress Reporting: Provide updates on task status, challenges, and timelines during
  - ups and sprint reviews, maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
• Issue Tracking and Risk Management: Proactively communicate obstacles and develop mitigation strategies for risks affecting project timelines.
• Documentation and Quality Assurance: Write technical documentation, draft test scenarios, implement automated testing, conduct code reviews, and manage application deployment on Open
  Shift.
• Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance and support to other developers, fostering a collaborative team environment and promoting continuous learning and improvement.

Key Technologies & Tools:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in Java (Spring-boot).
• Proficiency in relevant technologies including Java, Spring, databases, APIs, microservices, Dev
  Ops, and containerization.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration,
  - solving, adaptability, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• High level of English proficiency (B2/C1) and knowledge of French is advantageous due to the complexity of topics involved.
