Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x) IT Invoicing (Porto)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Corporate IT Hub in Porto.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage in every stage of the development lifecycle, from defining requirements to delivering demos and final production releases.
• Work closely with Software Architects and business specialists to architect the best technical and functional solutions for new features and enhancements.
• Drive the growth and success of the product team by identifying, proposing and implementing process improvements.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Develop high‑quality Java and Angular‑based digital products, ensuring code is clean, well‑tested and maintainable. Take full responsibility for the quality and long‑term sustainability of the software.
• Collaboratively define and design a robust, modular and integrated software landscape.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Proven track record of leading small to medium‑size software development teams in high‑performance, agile environments.
• Strong passion for IT, with the ability to find pragmatic and innovative solutions that maximize business value.
• Extensive object‑oriented programming skills, with several years of experience in Java, Spring, Docker (basics), Open
  Shift, Jenkins, Git, and SQL.
• Proficiency with front‑end technologies such as Angular and Java
  Script.
• Expertise in Kafka, API Gateways, Microservices architecture, and Dev
  Ops practices.
• Good knowledge of English.
