About Us**

S startup in the automotive sector (b2b), already serving clients in the US and Europe and growing quickly with customers/users already in motion. Our product is live and adopted, our roadmap is aggressive, and our team today includes a tight circle of founders and engineers. Now we're searching for a senior engineer as our #2 technical leader—someone who wants to help shape the codebase, product, and culture from the ground up.

Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using our tech stack
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help establish best practices
• Implement and maintain security best practices throughout our systems
• Troubleshoot production issues and develop solutions to address them

Qualifications**

• Driven and eager to operate our stack
• Passion for one or more focus areas: Security, Platform/SRE, AI, Product Engineering, or Business Intelligence (we want you to own a vertical or two)
• Proficient using typescript for Iaa
  S, backend, and frontends.
• Excellent
  - solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Strong written and spoken English

You Could Be A Fit If**

• You've built and shipped products as a senior or lead engineer, and ideally have startup (<50 people) experience
• You love autonomy, ownership, and shaping company direction in a flat,
  - first environment
• You're pragmatic,
  - minded, and enjoy collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders
• You care about maintainable code but value shipping over perfection
• You're based in Portugal (ideally Lisbon/Porto) or open to remote work with periodic
  - person meetups
